I have always had both a creative, artistic side and a technical fix-and-figure-things-out side. For most of my life these traits have been expressed in very different activities and settings.

Several years ago I took over the website maintenance at my job for a co-worker going on maternity leave. I had already been designing and producing the organization's newsletter when the website came my way. What can I say? It was love at first sight ~ and the perfect union of my creative and technical sides!

My job was a good one, so I kept it while cultivating website and graphic design work on the side. Eventually, it became evident that it was time to take up Painted Mountain Design full time. And I couldn't be happier with this decision. I really enjoy the work of website and graphic design, with all of its creative and technical challenges, and find it very interesting to work with such a wide variety of people and businesses.
